Detailed Description

Project Layout

The following directories are used to organize HighTest.

• deps New-ish dependent libraries and support programs.
• docs Destination for generated documentation.
• scripts Short support scripts to reduce Makefile complexity
• src The directory that contains the source code.
  • octane the Graphical Layout Editor for composing software via XML.
  • graph Reads the XML config and assembles a project.
  • log A wrapper for a logging mechanism. Uses log4cpp by default.
  • hightest A place to store generic compile-time definitions.
  • test The generic test driver.
  • utils A place for simple stand-alone utilities not provided by deps.
• top The installation directory. This may be redirected by the Makefile, but is here to reduce the need to install in system directories.
