Description

No development environment should be without change-tracking.

  • make releases with known content
  • determine the changes from one release to another
  • simplify the process of applying small changes to known stable copies (branches) of the system
  • document the reasons why changes are made without cluttering the code with comments

Should be integrated into the test/integration tool and an issue tracking tool
